This study analyzes a pre-Columbian tradition from the central coast of ancient Peru, characterized by the construction of structures using earthen blocks of diverse shapes and sizes, installed according to stability criteria. This construction tradition developed on the central coast of Peru during the first millennium CE in a region characterized by high seismic activity. These construction strategies persisted as part of a living tradition until the 16th century. This research focuses on analyzing these structures, by identifying the features that contributed to their durability. The methodology employed involved studying the monument using reverse engineering techniques. The study identified various block shapes, anchoring methods and wall assembly principles, among other characteristics.
