This paper presents a typological study on tapia wall in the Province of Seville (Spain) since the Islamic period. Although this classification is based primary on the structure of the tapia wall, metrological issues and material composition of the walls, wich are the results of having studied their material characterizations (composition, porosity, resistance...), are also considered.
